Forever in Love

Winter's gone...warmer weather is here. Romance is in the air and wedding season is fast approaching. This spring I am decidedly leaning toward the beach theme and "Forever in Love" whispers of the sands of the sea and spray of the waves.
This necklace is loaded with pearls, seed beads in shades of white, crystal AB and antique ivory, and Mother of Pearl frangia. I decided upon Czech crystals for this piece because of the warmer glow they radiate is more appropriate for this particular design. This lush and hefty fringe is attached to a tubular peyote base and closes with an aged silver S-hook.

Not only would this be stunning on an off-the-shoulder or spaghetti strap dress/gown, but makes a remarkable collar for simple top (as can be seen in the picture with the name of the necklace on it above). The best part is that this can be worn after the wedding - or be purchased simply as a beautiful summer necklace that proclaims your love for the soft beauty of the coast. "Window in Venice" and "Ablaze" make their debut

Introducing "Window in Venice". I decided on that name because when I look at it I see a stained glass window in a house built in the 1800's perched high atop a hill with beautiful vines and flowers trailing their way up. It just reminds me of a bygone era.

"Ablaze" - is just simple....lush but with brilliantflashes of red and green. The headpins with which they're attached add something extra with the silver paddles on the edges.

Crafting has always been a passion for me. I have yet to stick with any particular medium, as I love to switch it out and try new things. This blog is sort of a testament to that fact. Hope you enjoy...
