Aahh, Spring! The fresh air, sunshine, blooming flowers, baby animals...I love it. My favorite time of year. Fortunately in California we get to experience it a bit earlier than other states.
Wow, have things changed for me. I'm now back to a secular job and am fortunate enough to work for a good company with great bosses. I would love to be able to do my clay full time but....well, it's the whole "starving artist" scenario. Because of this change I most likely won't be at the Carlsbad Fair in May after all but I am hoping to be at the one in November. You can, however, still view and purchase from my website. Unfortunately I spent hours updating my website today and when I went to publish, the host system crashed. For now it still looks neglected (and has been) but I sent out a help ticket and hopefully will be able to get that issue taken care of.
I do have the privilege of making flowers for my sweet friend's wedding, the talented Amanda Day - sculpturist from Australia. I'm so happy to be able to do this for her but I won't be updating my blog with pictures as she's given me carte blanch creative license and I want her to be surprised. But...not doing the fair gives me more time for working on that and of course, I'll be continuing to make other items. I do have another wine bottle to show you and will be listing that and a couple of other things shortly. Meanwhile, enjoy the pretty Springtime!
